- IF-based radio monitoring; SdrDx supports an IF or converter offset you can use to translate IF tuning frequencies to the frequencies in use. You can update SdrDx's tuning information using its TCP interface.
- Peaberry SDRs are supported by allowing selection of any sound source in the computer, and enabling remote control of the SDR (if it has such) via TCP reception of broadcast of tuning information from SdrDx by an SDR-specific application that tunes that SDR. Tuning support is implemented via Python and TCP.

- RTL "stick" SDRs are supported under OS X only via this network server application, which is GPL'd
- Softrock (and other "soundcard-based" SDRs) are supported by allowing selection of any sound source in the computer, and enabling remote control of the SDR (if it has such) via TCP reception of broadcast of tuning information from SdrDx by an SDR-specific application that tunes that SDR. Tuning support is implemented via Python and TCP.

FUNcube is fully supported under OS X; Under Windows, limitations of the Qt development environment limit the FUNcube's bandwidth to 48 KHz instead of the 96 KHz it is actually capable of. There's no work-around for this until/unless the Qt people fix their busted stuff. However, everything except wide FM will work -- it's just that the display would otherwise be wider in the other modes. |

FUNcube + is fully supported under OS X; Under Windows, limitations of the Qt development environment limit the FUNcube's bandwidth to 48 KHz instead of the 192 KHz it is actually capable of. There's no work-around for this until/unless the Qt people fix their busted stuff. However, everything works except wide FM under Windows -- it's just that the display would otherwise be wider in the other modes. |

Waiting on RFSPACE for promised NET-SDR test unit; ETA unknown |

SDRPlay has arrived and I plan to work with it as soon as someone writes a server for this USB-based unit. |

Manufacturers: If you would like me to support your Ethernet-based SDR, or a USB-based SDR via your network server application(s), I need a working unit (and the server software in the case of a USB based design.) Doesn't have to be in any particular cosmetic shape, but it has to be 100% functional. Contact me via email to make arrangements. Use fyngyrz aht gmail daht com as the email address. Aht and daht are (probably futile) anti-spam measures, please translate appropriately. |
